H2B:IMPACT – Hydrogen in Bremen: Innovations in Mobility, Ports And the Clean Transformation
H2B:IMPACT is a regional flagship initiative establishing a comprehensive Hydrogen Valley in the Federal State of Bremen. It brings together public authorities, research institutions, technology developers, hydrogen producers, and other key stakeholders to build an integrated green hydrogen ecosystem across production, storage, distribution, and end-use applications.
Instead of focusing on a single demonstration site, the project connects three value chains through five innovative real-life testbeds. These demonstrate hydrogen applications in steel production, municipal transport, port logistics, construction machinery, water desalination for hydrogen production, and green methanol production.
