General description of the service

The website h2bimpact.eu provides information about the H2B Impact project – Hydrogen Valley Bremen. It presents projects, partners and activities related to green hydrogen in the Bremen region, in the fields of industry, mobility, logistics and construction. It is run by the Senator for Economic Affairs, Ports and Transformation of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. The service is available online only, free of charge and without registration. It is available in English and German.

How the service works

On the website you will find:

information about the Hydrogen Valley Bremen and its partners
current news, sorted by topic
events with location and date. For many events you can register directly via an online form.
an interactive map of activities in the region. The same content is also available as a text list.
documents to download
a contact form and the newsletter subscription. The newsletter subscription is confirmed by email (double opt-in).

You can use the website with all common browsers on computers, tablets and smartphones. You can change the language with the language switcher at the top and in the footer of every page.

Compliance status

We are committed to digital accessibility and aim to make our website fully accessible to all users. We are therefore continuously working to fully implement the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its ordinance (BFSGV).

Our website follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG):

The website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements. The following measures have been implemented:

Structure: a clearly organised page structure with headings and distinct page areas (header, navigation, content, footer)
Keyboard: All controls such as menus, accordions, forms and the language switcher can be operated with the keyboard. The keyboard focus is clearly visible.
Language: The page language is marked up in the code so that screen readers pronounce content correctly. The language switcher announces the full language name to screen readers and indicates the current language.
Expandable content: Accordions, for example on the partners page, tell screen readers whether they are open or closed.
Motion: Animations are reduced if you have set this in your operating system.
Display: The website adapts to screen size and zoom.
